Yogyakarta, July 8, 2026 – Universitas Bhakti Kencana conducted a benchmarking visit to the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), as part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of education and improving the management of campus facilities and infrastructure. The visit took place on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, starting at 8:30 a.m. (WIB) at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
The primary objective of the visit was to gain insights, knowledge, and inspiration regarding the management of modern, effective educational facilities that support high-quality academic services. Through this benchmarking activity, Universitas Bhakti Kencana aims to adopt best practices implemented by the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM in managing institutional assets, laboratories, and learning environments.
The delegation from Universitas Bhakti Kencana was warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr.rer.nat. apt. Endang Lukitaningsih, M.Si., Vice Dean for Finance, Assets, and Human Resources of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM. In her welcoming remarks, she expressed appreciation for the visit and emphasized that benchmarking activities such as this provide valuable opportunities to exchange experiences, strengthen inter-institutional networks, and promote excellence in the governance of higher education, particularly in pharmacy education.

On behalf of Universitas Bhakti Kencana, welcoming remarks were delivered by Dr. apt. Fauzan Zein Muttaqin, M.Si., Chair of the Ad-hoc Team and a faculty member of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Bhakti Kencana. He highlighted that the benchmarking visit represents a strategic initiative to support institutional development by learning from the outstanding practices implemented at the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM.
The program commenced with a discussion session focusing on facilities and infrastructure management, laboratory governance, and the development of educational and research support facilities. The delegation then toured the Advanced Pharmaceutical Science Learning Centre (APSLC) building and visited several laboratories and supporting units within the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM. Through these site visits, participants gained firsthand insights into facility management systems, the effective utilization of learning spaces, and infrastructure that supports education, research, and community engagement.
This benchmarking visit is expected to further strengthen the institutional partnership between Universitas Bhakti Kencana and the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada. It also serves as an important milestone in reinforcing both institutions’ commitment to advancing the quality of higher education, improving facilities management, and enhancing competitive academic services.
The benchmarking activity also supports the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting excellence in teaching and educational facility management; SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) through the development of modern academic and laboratory infrastructure that fosters innovation; and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions through the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices to advance sustainable educational quality.
