Master of Clinical Pharmacy Program Universitas Gadjah Mada Achieves Excellent Accreditation from LAM-PTKes and International Accreditation from ASIIN

Yogyakarta, May 5, 2026 – The Master of Clinical Pharmacy Program at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada, officially earned the Excellent (Unggul) accreditation status for 5 years (2026-2031 period), announced after the reaccreditation site assessment conducted from April 5–8, 2026. This achievement reflects the program’s strong commitment to maintaining high standards in higher education while strengthening its relevance in the development of healthcare services.

The Excellent accreditation status is the result of consistent program management focused on improving the quality of learning, strengthening the curriculum, and developing graduate competencies to meet the evolving needs of clinical pharmacy practice and healthcare systems.

This accomplishment is further reinforced by the program’s successful attainment of international accreditation from ASIIN, which is an international accreditation body for engineering, informatics, science, mathematics, and medicine, for the 2025–2032 period. This recognition confirms the quality of education, academic governance, and the faculty’s commitment to maintaining learning standards aligned with global benchmarks.

The Head of the Master of Clinical Pharmacy Program, Zullies Ikawati, stated that this achievement is the result of the collective efforts of the entire academic community and the support of various stakeholders. According to her, this recognition serves as motivation to continuously improve educational quality, expand academic contributions, and strengthen the program’s role in supporting better healthcare services.

Looking ahead, the Master of Clinical Pharmacy Program remains committed to driving innovation in education and research, while strengthening collaboration with various partners to produce graduates who are competent, professional, and capable of making meaningful contributions to clinical pharmacy practice.

This achievement also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through strengthening higher education quality, SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through the development of healthcare professionals, and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) through contributions to strengthening sustainable healthcare systems.
