Yogyakarta, April 17, 2026 — As part of the SENSASI program (Senam, Sarapan, Silaturahmi) program, the Health Cluster of Universitas Gadjah Mada, consisting of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Dentistry, and the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing (FK-KMK), also provided preventive health screening services through Posbindu (Integrated Development Post). The activity took place at the North Parking Area of the PHCC Building, Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, and was attended by approximately 300 participants, including lecturers and administrative staff.
The Posbindu service offered a range of basic health examinations, including blood pressure measurement, body weight assessment, and screening for blood glucose, cholesterol, and uric acid levels. Conducted by a dedicated health team, this initiative aimed to support early detection of non-communicable disease risk factors while encouraging participants to be more aware of their individual health conditions.
The presence of Posbindu in this event highlights the importance of integrating preventive healthcare into daily life, particularly within academic environments. Participants not only gained access to convenient health screening services but also received essential health education to promote sustainable healthy lifestyle practices amid busy routines.
This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through the promotion of preventive healthcare and early disease detection, SDG 4 (Quality Education) by enhancing health literacy among the academic community, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through cross-faculty collaboration in delivering inclusive and sustainable health services.
Through the Posbindu services at SENSASI, the faculty of Pharmacy UGM reaffirms its commitment to fostering a culture of preventive healthcare, encouraging regular health monitoring, and building a healthier, more productive, and resilient academic community.
