Yogyakarta, August 21, 2025 – The Faculty of Pharmacy at Gadjah Mada University warmly welcomed Mersi Farma to the recruitment event, which was held as a form of synergy between the academic world and the pharmaceutical industry. The event was officially opened by Prof. Dr.rer.nat. apt. Nanang Fakhrudin, M.Si., as the Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, and Alumni Affairs at the Faculty of Pharmacy, UGM. He expressed appreciation and hope that the skills honed by students, both through academic learning and non-academic experiences, could serve as the primary capital for securing career opportunities in the future.
In his remarks, Prof. Nanang emphasized that this collaboration not only opens job opportunities for new pharmacy graduates but also reinforces the role of higher education institutions in producing graduates ready to compete globally. The series of activities included a company profile presentation by PT Mersifarma’s team, filling out participant selection forms, basic skill tests, and interviews conducted directly by PT Mersifarma’s recruitment team.
The positions offered in this recruitment are quite varied, including QA System Supervisor, QC Compliance Supervisor, Quality Assurance Staff, Quality Control Staff, Analytical Development Staff (R&D), Formulation Staff (R&D), Production Supervisor, and Medical Representative. Guided by the principles of science, integrity, and quality, Mersifarma continues to strive to provide safe, effective, and standard-compliant pharmaceutical products for the Indonesian people.
These activities align with efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through improved access to quality healthcare services and products, SDG 4 (Quality Education) by providing students with opportunities to connect with the workforce, and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) through the provision of decent job opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector.
