Yogyakarta, 24 October 2026 — The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) successfully organised a cultural and entertainment event themed “Memothera: Lantern of Memories”, entitled “Malam Seni”, on Saturday (24/10) at Selasar Unit, the APSLC Building. This event formed part of a series of activities marking the 80th Anniversary and the 16th Lustrum of the Faculty of Pharmacy, UGM, and was exclusively for members of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

The celebrations were enlivened by a special performance from the Teater Kita theatre group, the presentation of the KMFA Awards, the PHARM FEST celebrations, and, of course, the headline act, OLSKI. To add to the festive atmosphere, the organising committee also provided visitors with a variety of food stalls and a photo booth area to capture these shared moments. The success of this event was, of course, made possible by the support of our sponsoring partners who collaborated with the Malam Seni organising committee.

By organising this Arts Evening, the Faculty of Pharmacy at UGM has contributed to supporting the spirit of the Sustainable Development Goals. Providing a space for artistic expression and entertainment for the academic community of the Faculty of Pharmacy directly supports the achievement of SDG 3 on Good Health and Well-being. Through these recreational and artistic appreciation activities, the faculty strives to maintain the emotional well-being and mental health of students and teaching staff amidst their busy academic routines.
On the other hand, the involvement of various corporate institutions as sponsors of this event is a concrete example of the implementation of SDG 17 on Partnerships for the Goals. The strong synergy between educational institutions and industry partners demonstrates that cross-sector collaboration is vital in supporting high-quality and competitive campus community development programs.
