Yogyakarta, January 1, 2026 – A student from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), has once again secured a prestigious international achievement. Hanindita Nafisa Sudiarso, an undergraduate student at the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM batch of 2024, successfully claimed the title of 1st Runner Up in the APRO Branding Competition 2025–26, organized by the IPSF Asia Pacific Regional Office (APRO).
The competition, held virtually from December 12–24, 2025, saw participation from pharmacy students across various countries in the Asia Pacific region. Hanindita competed in the Video Showcase Category, a platform that challenges students’ creativity in delivering organizational branding in an innovative, communicative, and informative manner. Her video submission successfully impressed the IPSF APRO judges for its ability to represent organizational identity with a strong visual concept.
This achievement is a clear testament that UGM Pharmacy students excel not only in scientific and clinical fields but also possess high competence in creativity, communication, and digital technology on a global stage. Hanindita’s success is expected to motivate other students to continue exploring their potential and actively participate in international competitions.
This accomplishment also aligns with the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM’s support for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 4 (Quality Education). Through participation in international competitions, students gain opportunities to develop inclusive and competitive 21st-century skills while strengthening Universitas Gadjah Mada’s reputation within the Asia Pacific region.
