Faculty of Pharmacy UGM Sends Off 49 Graduate Program Graduates in the Fourth Graduation Period of AY 2025/2026

Yogyakarta, July 22, 2026 – The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), held the Graduate Program Farewell Ceremony for the Fourth Graduation Period of the 2025/2026 Academic Year on Wednesday (July 22) at the Auditorium on the 8th Floor of the Advanced Pharmaceutical Sciences Learning Center (APLSC), Faculty of Pharmacy UGM. A total of 49 graduates from four graduate programs were officially recognized for successfully completing their studies.

This graduation period comprised 4 graduates from the Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences Program (DIF), 17 graduates from the Master of Clinical Pharmacy Program (MFK), 21 graduates from the Master of Pharmacy Management Program (MMF), and 7 graduates from the Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences Program (MIF).

The graduates demonstrated outstanding academic achievements. All graduates from the Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences Program and the Master of Clinical Pharmacy Program earned the cum laude distinction, with average GPAs of 3.99 and 3.94, respectively. Meanwhile, 95 percent of graduates from the Master of Pharmacy Management Program graduated cum laude with an average GPA of 3.95, while 86 percent of graduates from the Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences Program achieved cum laude with an average GPA of 3.97.

During the ceremony, the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM also recognized the best graduate from each study program. Happy Elda Murdiana was named the best graduate of the Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences Program, graduating with a 4.00 GPA, the With Distinction honor, and a study period of 3 years, 10 months, and 4 days. Ayu Anggresti received the award as the best graduate of the Master of Clinical Pharmacy Program, earning a 3.98 GPA, the With Distinction honor, and completing her studies in 1 year, 10 months, and 7 days. From the Master of Pharmacy Management Program, Affifatu Annisa was recognized as the best graduate after achieving a 4.00 GPA, graduating With Distinction, and completing her studies in 1 year, 4 months, and 18 days. Meanwhile, Komang Dian Aditya Putra was named the best graduate of the Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences Program with a 4.00 GPA, the With Distinction honor, and a study period of 1 year, 10 months, and 7 days.

The Graduate Program Farewell Ceremony reflects the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM’s commitment to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by preparing highly competent professionals in the fields of healthcare and pharmaceutical sciences, SDG 4 (Quality Education) through the delivery of high-quality graduate education that produces outstanding graduates, and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by strengthening research and innovation capacity to contribute to the advancement of science, technology, and the pharmaceutical industry.
