Yogyakarta, 4 November 2026 – The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), participated in Global EduFair 2026, organized by UGM’s Gelanggang Inovasi dan Kreativitas (GIK), on Wednesday (November 4) at Joglo GIK UGM. At the event, the Faculty of Pharmacy joined as one of the exhibitors, introducing its academic programs and providing visitors with information about study opportunities in the pharmaceutical field.

Global EduFair 2026 is an international education fair aimed at expanding access to information on study opportunities, scholarships, and various personal development prospects, both in Indonesia and abroad. Through this event, GIK UGM seeks to connect the public with higher education institutions from various regions around the world. With a target of more than 5,000 visitors, Global EduFair 2026 is expected to provide prospective students and the general public with broader access to educational information.

The participation of the UGM Faculty of Pharmacy represents an effort to make information about pharmaceutical education more accessible to the public. Through its exhibition booth, visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the academic programs offered, the academic environment, and opportunities to develop their competencies at the Faculty. The event also provided an opportunity for direct interaction with prospective students and individuals interested in pursuing higher education in pharmacy.

Participation in Global EduFair 2026 aligns with the UGM Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment to expanding access to educational information and building networks with various stakeholders. The event also contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through providing access to information on higher education opportunities; SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) by broadening public access to information on study opportunities and scholarships; and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through collaboration and engagement with various educational institutions in an international-scale forum.
