Exercise, Breakfast, and Togetherness: Strengthening Fitness and Solidarity among the Academic Community of UGM’s Health Cluster through SENSASI

Yogyakarta, April 17, 2026 — The Health Cluster of Universitas Gadjah Mada, comprising the Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Dentistry, and the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing (FK-KMK), organized the SENSASI Healthy Exercise (Senam, Sarapan, Silaturahmi) on Friday morning at the North Parking Area of the PHCC Building, Faculty of Pharmacy UGM. This activity reflects a shared commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle while strengthening relationships among academic members across faculties.

Attended by more than a hundred participants, including lecturers and administrative staff, the exercise session lasted around 45 minutes and was led by professional instructors. A vibrant and energetic atmosphere was evident throughout the event, as participants actively followed movements designed to improve physical fitness and maintain overall health.

The SENSASI Healthy Exercise was not merely a physical activity but also served as a warm and engaging platform for interaction among members of the academic community. The event is expected to foster greater awareness of the importance of maintaining health consistently amid busy work routines, while also enhancing synergy and communication within UGM’s Health Cluster.

This activity also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through the promotion of physical activity and disease prevention, SDG 4 (Quality Education) by fostering a campus environment that supports holistic learning including physical and mental well-being, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through cross-faculty collaboration in creating a healthy and productive academic ecosystem.

Through the SENSASI Healthy Exercise, the UGM Health Cluster aims to continuously initiate positive programs that not only improve individual health but also strengthen solidarity and collective spirit in building a healthier and more harmonious campus environment.
