Yogyakarta, 08/07/2026 – The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), continues to expand its partnership network with various strategic partners, including the pharmaceutical industry. On Wednesday, July 8, 2026, the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM held an online coordination meeting via Microsoft Teams with PT Mensa Group to discuss plans for collaboration in student internship programs and recruitment opportunities for top graduates.
The meeting was attended by Virna Setjiadi, Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Specialist from PT Mensa Group. Representing the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM were Dr. apt. M. Rifqi Rokhman, M.Sc., Head of the Pharmacist Professional Study Program (PSPA); Dr. apt. Fivy Kurniawati, M.Sc., Secretary of the PSPA Study Program; apt. Fathul Muin, M.Pharm., Coordinator of Public Relations and Cooperation Unit; and Herlambang Satriyadi, S.H., staff member in the cooperation division of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM.
This coordination meeting was a follow-up to a collaboration proposal previously submitted by PT Mensa Group. The proposed scope of collaboration includes participation in the recruitment program for top graduates (Dean’s List), the implementation of internship programs (Pharmacist Professional Practice), as well as other forms of collaboration that support the development of students’ and graduates’ competencies in the field of pharmacy. Both parties also discussed potential implementation strategies that could provide mutual benefits for both academia and industry.
This prospective collaboration aligns with the commitment of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) through enhancing the quality of competent and work-ready graduates, and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions and the industry sector. This partnership is expected to contribute to the development of highly competitive and globally competitive human resources.
