Yogyakarta, 8 January 2026 — The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), held an Inauguration and Handover Ceremony for Heads of Study Programs, Heads of Departments, and Coordinators of Supporting Units as part of its efforts to strengthen organizational governance and ensure leadership continuity within the faculty. This event marked an important moment in safeguarding the sustainability of academic management, research, and supporting services for the implementation of the university’s tridharma.
On this occasion, the faculty leadership conveyed their appreciation and gratitude to the outgoing officials for their dedication, commitment, and contributions in supporting the advancement of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, particularly in the areas of education, research, and community service.
The newly appointed officials are expected to continue ongoing strategic programs while also introducing innovation and strengthening unit performance. Adaptive, collaborative, and integrity-driven leadership is considered essential in addressing increasingly complex academic and organizational challenges, including multigenerational human resource dynamics and the growing demands for institutional quality and competitiveness.
The handover ceremony also reflects the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM’s commitment to fostering a professional, accountable, and continuously improving organizational culture. Through strong synergy between the new leadership and the entire academic community, the faculty remains optimistic about further enhancing the quality of academic services, research governance, and the strengthening of national and international collaborative networks.
