Yogyakarta, July 25, 2025 – Summer Course 2025 is an international academic program organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), aimed at fostering scientific collaboration, broadening global perspectives, and enhancing students’ creativity in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. One of the highlights of this program was the Individual Poster Presentation Competition, which brought together students from various national and international universities to present works addressing current issues in health, environment, and pharmaceutical development.
In this competition, UGM Faculty of Pharmacy student Ardipta Feyant Santoso achieved Third Place in the Individual Poster Presentation category with his work titled “Green Wisdom: Sustainable Path for Youth Wellness and Climate Action.” The poster emphasizes the role of young people in promoting healthy and environmentally conscious lifestyles through scientific approaches and sustainable green pharmaceutical innovation.
This achievement also contributes to the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), Quality Education (SDG 4), and Climate Action (SDG 13). Through academic programs and international competitions such as Summer Course 2025, the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM continues to strengthen its commitment to nurturing a generation that is globally minded, scientifically competent, and dedicated to contributing to health, education, and environmental sustainability through innovation in pharmaceutical sciences.
This accomplishment reaffirms UGM’s role as an institution that not only prioritizes academic excellence but also actively promotes global awareness and interdisciplinary collaboration in support of sustainable development.
