Dexa Group Holds Campus Hiring at Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, Opening Career Opportunities for New Graduates

Pharmacy UGM – Dexa Group has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the career development of pharmacy graduates by organizing a campus hiring event at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). The event occurred at the Auditorium on the 8th floor of the APSLC Building, Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 08.30 AM until completion.

The event was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Collaboration, and Alumni, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. apt. Nanang Fakhrudin, M.Si. In his opening remarks, he expressed his appreciation for the collaboration between the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM and Dexa Group in providing career opportunities for graduates. “Such events are highly beneficial for graduates seeking career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry. Academic Visit from Kyung Hee University: Agreement on International Collaboration with the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM

Pharmacy UGM – On Tuesday (11/2), the College of Korea Medicine Kyung Hee University (KHU), South Korea, paid an academic visit to the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). The visit aimed to strengthen international relations and discuss and finalize an academic cooperation agreement between the two institutions. The representative from the College of Korea Medicine KHU, Prof. Bonglee Kim, was welcomed by the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM’s leadership team, along with several lecturers and academic staff. read more

PSPA Pharmacy UGM Holds In Vitro Diagnostic Guest Lecture to Start New Semester

Farmasi UGM – The Pharmacist Professional Program (PSPA) of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Gadjah Mada University (UGM) held a guest lecture titled “From Development to Patients: The Journey of In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD)” on Monday (February 10th) at the Auditorium on the 8th floor of the APSLC Building, Faculty of Pharmacy, UGM.

This guest lecture, which also served as the inaugural lecture for new PSPA students in the Even Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year at UGM’s Faculty of Pharmacy, aimed to provide new insights to students regarding in vitro diagnostic (IVD) products, how these products are developed, tested, produced, and how their use is related to the pharmacist profession. read more

Pharmacy UGM – On Wednesday (5/2), the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) held a Morning Tea event focused on the Fast Track Program and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC). The event took place in the 8th-floor auditorium of the APSLC Pharmacy UGM building and aimed to enhance faculty members’ understanding of the Fast Track program and the implementation of MOOC in learning. Workshop on the Evaluation of Teaching-Learning Activities and Preliminaries for the Even Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year

Pharmacy UGM – Tuesday (21/1) The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) held a workshop with the agenda of evaluating Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) and preparing for the upcoming Even Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The event took place at the 8th-floor Auditorium, APSLC, Faculty of Pharmacy UGM. The workshop was attended by lecturers from all study programs within the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM.

The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, Prof. Dr. apt. Satibi, M.Si., who emphasized the importance of evaluating KBM as part of efforts to improve the quality of learning. During the workshop, several important inputs were shared, including the results of evaluations from ASIIN and AMI, as well as complaints and suggestions from students, which would be considered for follow-up actions to improve the quality of teaching at the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM. The planned improvements discussed included aspects of teaching, lecturer administration, and the enhancement of facilities and infrastructure. read more

Faculty of Pharmacy UGM and PT Pharma Metric Labs Establish Research and Pharmaceutical Product Development Collaboration

Pharmacy UGM – The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) has officially established a collaboration with PT Pharma Metric Labs through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Friday, January 10, 2025, in the Dean’s Office at the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM.

The MoU document was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, Prof. Dr. apt. Satibi, M.Si., accompanied by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. apt. Nanang Munif Yasin, S.Si., M.Pharm. Meanwhile, Anton Hidayat, the President Director, signed the MoU on behalf of PT Pharma Metric Labs. read more

UGM Faculty of Pharmacy Welcomes Prof. Dr. apt. Chairun Wiedyaningsih, M.Kes., M.App.Sc. as a Professor in Pharmaceutical Policy

Yogyakarta, January 9, 2025 – The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) officially inaugurated Prof. Dr. apt. Chairun Wiedyaningsih, M.Kes., M.App.Sc. as a Professor in the field of Pharmaceutical Policy. The inauguration ceremony took place at the UGM Senate Hall, attended by distinguished academics, professors, family members, and colleagues of Prof. Chairun. This milestone marks a significant achievement in advancing pharmaceutical education and research in Indonesia.

In her inaugural address, titled “The Strategic Role of Pharmacists in Strengthening Policies for the Safety of Drug Distribution and Use in Society,” Prof. Chairun delivered an insightful discussion on the critical importance of reinforcing policies governing drug distribution and use in Indonesia. Faculty of Pharmacy UGM Successfully Hosts The 6th Asian Pharmacometrics Network Annual Workshop and Symposium 2024

Pharmacy UGM – In celebration of its 78th anniversary, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) successfully organized The 6th APN Annual Workshop and Symposium 2024 in collaboration with the Asian Pharmacometrics Network (APN). This event, held from November 20-22, 2024, featured various speakers from diverse backgrounds, including researchers, lecturers, practitioners, and students from across Asia.

With the theme “Pharmacometrics in the Optimization of Drug Development and Clinical Therapy,” this event aimed to optimize drug development and clinical therapy. During the event, workshops, scientific presentations, and panel discussions were conducted, featuring keynote speakers from prominent experts in the field. read more

UGM Faculty of Pharmacy Delegation Conducts Institutional and Academic Visitation to Timor Leste to Expand Academic and Research Collaboration

Pharmacy UGM – The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), conducted an Institutional and Academic Visitation to Timor Leste from November 17 to 20, 2024. The delegation, led by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Satibi, M.Si., Apt., included the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. apt. Nanang Munif Yasin, S.Si., M.Pharm., the Vice Dean for Research, Dr. Rer. nat. Nanang Fakhrudin, M.Si., Apt., and the Head of the Master’s Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr. apt. Adhyatmika, M.Biotech. The delegation visited several institutions, such as Universidade Catolico Timorense (UCT), Universidade Nacional Timor Leste (UNTL), Instituto Nacional Farmasia i Produtu Medico (INFPM), and others. read more
