DWP UP Faculty of Pharmacy UGM Holds Accountability Report and Leadership Handover

Yogyakarta, October 2, 2026 — The Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Unit Pelaksana (UP) of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), held an Accountability Report of the DWP Chairperson for the 2021–2026 term, followed by the Handover of Leadership from the Chairperson of the 2021–2026 term to the newly appointed Chairperson for the 2026–2031 term. The event was held on Friday (2/10), at the RSP, 7th Floor, APSLC Building, Faculty of Pharmacy UGM. The event was attended by members of the DWP UP Faculty of Pharmacy UGM as part of the organization’s agenda to present an accountability report on the implementation of programs and activities throughout the 2021–2026 term. The report served as an important opportunity to communicate the achievements, activities, and contributions of DWP during the previous leadership period.

In addition to the accountability report, the event featured a formal handover of leadership from the Chairperson of DWP UP Faculty of Pharmacy UGM for the 2021–2026 term to the Chairperson for the 2026–2031 term. The handover marked the continuation of organizational leadership and provided an opportunity to strengthen the commitment to implementing future programs and activities within the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM community. The transition of leadership is expected to support organizational regeneration and continuity. Through a spirit of collaboration and shared commitment, DWP UP Faculty of Pharmacy UGM continues to contribute to fostering a harmonious, productive, and socially engaged environment within the faculty community and its families.

The activities of DWP UP Faculty of Pharmacy UGM are also aligned with the broader principles of sustainable development promoted by Pharmacy UGM. Through strengthening women’s participation, family empowerment, capacity building, and social and community engagement, DWP contributes to several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). These contributions further strengthen the role of the academic community and supporting organizations in building an inclusive, healthy, empowered, and sustainable institutional environment.
