UGM Pharmacy Students Achieve Success in the IPSF Regional Competitions 2025 Industrial Skills Event

Students from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) have once again made their mark on the international stage. At the IPSF Regional Competitions 2025 organized by the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation Asia Pacific Regional Office (IPSF APRO), two teams from UGM’s Faculty of Pharmacy won the competition and brought pride to Indonesia.

This competition serves as a platform for pharmacy students and alumni across the Asia Pacific region to hone their academic skills and showcase their potential in the field of pharmacy. One of the competition categories this year was the Industrial Skills Event (ISE) with the theme “Rapid Analysis and Reliable Outcomes in Shaping Industry Resilience.”

In this event, the JANIZE team (Jennifer, Farah Choirun Nisa, Dzaki Hasan Nasrullah) won 1st place, while the NIRvana team (Anggit Wignya Adi Prasasti, Iffah Zakiya Yasmin, Kevin Lensrich Kar) took home 3rd place.

This achievement not only proves the academic excellence of UGM Pharmacy students, but also reflects their collaboration, creativity, and real contribution to sustainable development, particularly in supporting SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), while strengthening international networks in line with the spirit of SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

With this victory, UGM Pharmacy further solidifies its position as a leading pharmaceutical higher education institution in the Asia Pacific region that not only excels in academics but also contributes to the achievement of sustainable development goals at the global level.
