Yogyakarta, May 3, 2025 – Students from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) have once again made an international achievement. The Fourmumates team, consisting of Jennifer, Anggit Wignya Adi Prasasti, Kevin Lensrich Kar, and Iffah Zakiya Yasmin, won first place in the Advanced Level Compounding Event at the 2025 IPSF Regional Competitions organized by the IPSF Asia Pacific Regional Office (APRO).
This prestigious competition challenges pharmacy students in the Asia Pacific region to demonstrate their skills in accurately, safely, and innovatively compounding and formulating pharmaceutical preparations. The success of the Fourmumates Team reflects their precision, scientific competence, and solid teamwork, while also affirming the quality of UGM’s pharmacy education in international level.
This achievement is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being through strengthening the role of pharmacists in health services, SDG 4: Quality Education through international-standard competitive learning, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through a collaborative network of pharmacy students across the Asia-Pacific region.
This achievement further strengthens the position of UGM Pharmacy as a leading educational institution that consistently produces a generation of outstanding pharmacists who are globally competitive and contribute significantly to the development of public health.
