UGM Pharmacy Students Achieve Success at International Event: IPSF Global Pharmaolympics 2025

Yogyakarta, June 26, 2025 – Students from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) have once again made Indonesia proud on the international stage. At the 2025 Pharmaolympics event organized by the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF Global), the Hanupis Team, consisting of Jennifer, Anggit Wignya Adi Prasasti, and Gabriella Kanya, won 2nd place in the Compounding Event with the theme “Exhibiting Pharmacy Prowess”.

This achievement demonstrates the precision, technical skills, and mastery of pharmaceutical science of UGM students in formulating pharmaceutical preparations in accordance with global standards. This success is proof that UGM Pharmacy is able to compete internationally, not only in the academic realm, but also in practical skills that support public health services.

This achievement is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This international competition supports SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being by improving the quality of pharmaceutical skills, strengthening SDG 4: Quality Education through international learning experiences, and promoting SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by expanding the network and collaboration of pharmacy students across countries.

The Faculty of Pharmacy at UGM is committed to continuing to support its students in developing their potential, competing at the global level, and making a real contribution to the advancement of science and global public health.
