UGM Faculty of Pharmacy Welcomes LAM-PTKes Assessors for Field Assessment of Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences Program Re-Accreditation

Yogyakarta, November 5, 2025 — The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) welcomed a visitation from the Indonesian Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Health (LAM-PTKes) as part of the Field Assessment (AL) for the re-accreditation of the Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIF) Study Program. The three-day event took place from Monday to Wednesday, November 3–5, 2025, at the Leadership Meeting Room, 7th Floor of the APSLC Building, UGM Faculty of Pharmacy.

This field assessment involved two assessors tasked with verifying, clarifying, and validating all documents and the implementation of the “tridarma” (three pillars of higher education: education, research, and community service) within the Master’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences Study Program. The assessors arrived in Yogyakarta on Sunday evening, November 2, 2025, and were welcomed by the UGM Faculty of Pharmacy team.

The official opening ceremony was held on Monday morning (Nov 3), attended by Prof. Dr. apt. Satibi, M.Si., Dean of the UGM Faculty of Pharmacy, and Dr. apt. Adhyatmika, M.Biotech., Head of the Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences Study Program. In her remarks, Prof. Satibi emphasized the Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment to maintaining international standards in education, research, and community service quality.

Over the three days, the assessor team conducted a series of activities, including presentations and clarifications of accreditation documents; assessments of lecturers, educational staff, students, alumni, and graduate users; as well as inspections of learning facilities and infrastructure. This evaluation covered the suitability of educational facilities such as lecture halls, laboratories, and academic support systems with the quality standards set by LAM-PTKes.

The assessment concluded on Wednesday (November 5th) with the presentation of the field assessment results by the assessor team to the faculty and study program leadership. following a discussion session and final report refinements, the event closed with the signing of the Field Assessment Report by the assessors, Head of the Study Program, and Head of the Master’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences Study Program.

The re-accreditation field assessment of the Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences Study Program also aligns with the UGM Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment to several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By enhancing the quality of higher education and research in pharmacy, this activity contributes to SDG 4 (Quality Education) by ensuring excellent and nationally standardized learning processes. The evaluation of research and community service conducted by lecturers and students supports SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through the development of pharmaceutical innovations for public health. Furthermore, the collaboration between lecturers, students, alumni, and graduate users during the assessment process reflects the implementation of SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), emphasizing the importance of multi-stakeholder partnerships to achieve sustainable education and research.
