UGM Faculty of Pharmacy Students Win International Award, Strengthen Global Health Messages Through Innovative Poster Design

UGM Pharmacy – The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) is once again celebrating an outstanding international achievement. Nisa Fredlina Mahardika Saputri, a 2023 student, secured Runner-Up in the Infographic Poster Competition INTERCOM 2025. This international poster competition was organized by the Student Executive Board, Institute of Health Sciences Nahdlatul Ulama Tuban, and took place on February 14, 2025.

INTERCOM 2025 was designed as a platform for students and young generations worldwide to express their ideas, creativity, and innovation through visual arts. With the theme “Healthy Environment, Prosperous Life,” the competition encouraged participants to convey crucial messages about global health issues through their posters, while also introducing the noble values of the Indonesian nation to the international stage.

Nisa Fredlina Mahardika Saputri’s achievement in the Infographic Poster Competition highlights her exceptional ability to communicate health-related messages creatively and informatively, perfectly aligning with the competition’s theme. This success directly contributes to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 3: Good Health and Well-being, by raising awareness about the importance of a healthy environment for a prosperous life.

Furthermore, through the ideas presented in her poster, Nisa also supported SDG No. 4: Quality Education, by showcasing innovative learning outcomes and knowledge application, and SDG No. 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through the spirit of collaboration and healthy competition on an international scale.

This accomplishment serves as an inspiration for other students to continue creating and competing at an international level. It also reinforces the Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment to spreading positive messages through visual arts and innovation. The Faculty of Pharmacy UGM consistently supports its students in achieving excellence and making tangible contributions on a global scale, preparing them as agents of change ready to address future health challenges.
