Yogyakarta, August 28, 2025 – The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), once again achieved a proud milestone by graduating 131 bachelor’s students in the 4th Graduation Ceremony of Academic Year 2024/2025. The ceremony took place at Grha Sabha Pramana UGM, attended by university and faculty leaders, families, and distinguished guests.
In this graduation, as many as 101 graduates earned the distinction of cum laude, reflecting the high dedication of UGM Pharmacy students in pursuing their education. An outstanding achievement was also recorded by Azka Radhia Rahmami, who was selected as the faculty’s graduation representative with a GPA of 3.96 and a study period of 3 years, 11 months, and 2 days. This accomplishment stands as proof of the Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment to producing excellent graduates who are of integrity, globally competitive, and ready to contribute to society.
The graduation of bachelor’s students in this period marks an important milestone in strengthening the university’s contribution to producing high-quality human resources. Graduates are expected not only to excel academically but also to uphold social responsibility, foster collaboration, and maintain strong integrity as they pursue careers in the pharmaceutical field.
This event also aligns with the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM’s efforts to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Quality Education (SDG 4) through the provision of high-quality education, Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3) by producing professional health workers, and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17) through cross-sector collaboration for sustainable development.
