Yogyakarta, 21 September 2025 – The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), proudly celebrates the achievement of Nanang Fakhrudin, who received the Best Oral Presentation award in the Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Pharmacology Track at the 6th International Pharmaceutical Research Conference (iPRC) 2025. The conference was held on 20–21 September 2025 under the theme “Innovating for a Sustainable Future: New Paradigms in Pharmaceutical Sciences.”
The international event was co-organized by Rangsit University and Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Jakarta, with support from the Malaysian Pharmacists Society. Prof. Nanang delivered a presentation entitled The Potency of Breadfruit Leaves (Artocarpus altilis) as a Cardio-Protective Agent. This recognition highlights UGM’s contribution to advancing innovative research in pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmacology, while also strengthening the global competitiveness of its academic community.
This achievement is closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through innovative research that enhances public health, SDG 4 (Quality Education) by generating new knowledge that enriches higher education and research, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by fostering international collaboration and academic exchange in pharmaceutical sciences.
The Faculty of Pharmacy UGM hopes that this accomplishment will inspire its academic community to continue producing impactful innovations that contribute to both national progress and global scientific development.
