UGM Faculty of Pharmacy Conducts Graduate Program Outreach and Promotion in Manado for New Student Admissions Academic Years 2025/2026 and 2026/2027

Yogyakarta, 8 December 2025 — The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada, through its Graduate Programs (Master’s and Doctoral), conducted a series of outreach and promotional activities aimed at attracting prospective students for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year and the Odd Semester of the 2026/2027 Academic Year. Scheduled on 15–18 December 2025 in Manado, North Sulawesi, the activities include visits to several higher education institutions and health-related agencies. This initiative reflects the Faculty’s commitment to delivering comprehensive information about the Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Master of Clinical Pharmacy, Master of Pharmaceutical Management, and Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences to prospective students from various regions.

The agenda includes academic visits, program briefings, guest lectures, and exploration of potential collaborations with partner institutions. Target locations include Sam Ratulangi University, Poltekkes Ministry of Health Manado, Universitas Muhammadiyah Manado, Universitas Prisma, as well as several agencies such as Kimia Farma Manado, BPOM Manado, and the Provincial/District Health Offices. The delegation feature Prof. Dr. Apt. Zullies Ikawati, Dr. Sylvia Utami Tunjung Pratiwi, Dr. Apt. Fita Rahmawati, Sp.FRS, and Dr. Apt. Dwi Endarti, M.Sc., who will present information on curriculum structure, research opportunities, career prospects, and admission pathways.

This initiative is aligned with UGM’s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) by expanding access to high-quality postgraduate education for prospective students across regions, SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by strengthening the competencies of future health professionals in pharmacy and healthcare services, and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) by encouraging academic–industry collaboration and advancing pharmaceutical research innovation through engagement with health institutions and the pharmaceutical sector.
