Yogyakarta, 27 September 2025 – Alumni of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Class of 1995 held their 30th anniversary reunion at the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM. The event served as a special moment to reconnect, celebrate shared memories from their student years, and strengthen professional networks among alumni who are now contributing in various sectors.
The reunion was opened with remarks from the Committee Chair, Budi Purnomo, and attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, Prof. Dr. apt. Satibi, M.Si., along with the faculty dean. More than just a nostalgic gathering, the event was envisioned as a platform to renew the alumni’s collective commitment to contribute to their alma mater, society, and the nation.
The event continued with a joint lunch at the UGM Pharmacy Canteen, followed by a photo session at the UGM Roundabout and GIK. Afterwards, the reunion participants headed to Balkondes Karangrejo, Magelang Regency, for a gala dinner that marked the closing of the series of activities. During the gala evening, alumni shared stories and experiences, especially fond memories from their college years.
In addition to reinforcing alumni bonds, this reunion aligns with the advancement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through alumni contributions in pharmacy and public health, SDG 4 (Quality Education) by supporting knowledge sharing and mentoring for future generations of students, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening alumni collaboration and partnerships with educational institutions.
With the spirit of togetherness, the 30th anniversary reunion is expected to become a stepping stone for the Class of 1995 alumni to continue supporting the development of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM while making a broader impact on society.
