Yogyakarta, September 26, 2026—The Faculty of Pharmacy Alumni Reunion served as an opportunity to reconnect and strengthen bonds among alumni from various graduating classes in a warm and interactive atmosphere. The event, which took place from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. WIB, was attended by approximately 1,300 alumni and featured a program that combined fellowship, entertainment, and recognition of the alumni’s journeys.
The event began with dinner and entertainment, followed by opening remarks from the emcee, a welcome address by the Chair of the Organizing Committee of Lustrum XVI, Dr.rer.nat. apt. Yosi Bayumurti, M.Sc., and remarks by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. apt. Satibi, M.Si. This series of events served as an introduction before participants took part in various activities designed to foster a warm and interactive atmosphere.
One of the main highlights of the Reunion is the artistic performances by alumni from various graduating classes. A total of 13 alumni performers took the stage to present a variety of acts, ranging from singing and line dancing to group performances. The presence of alumni from various generations reflects both the diversity and the continuity of the Faculty of Pharmacy’s extended family network. This sense of togetherness further strengthened through collaborative performances involving alumni, faculty members, and students. The event concluded with a flash mob, group dancing, and the singing of national anthems. This closing segment is designed as a moment of togetherness that involves participants, students, and the academic community.
With its warm and interactive concept, Temu Raya serves not only as a gathering but also as a space to strengthen networks and a sense of community among UGM Faculty of Pharmacy alumni from various graduating classes. The involvement of alumni, faculty members, students, and various supporting groups in the series of activities is expected to create a memorable shared experience while strengthening intergenerational bonds within the extended family of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
The organization of the Intergenerational Reunion also supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by strengthening networks and collaboration among alumni, faculty, students, and various parties involved in organizing the event. This intergenerational collaboration is part of the effort to build sustainable relationships and foster stronger partnerships within the academic community.
