Farmacy UGM – The Dean and the Vice-Deans of the Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) warmly welcomed Leanne Howie, the representative of the University of Sydney (USyd), Australia, on Monday, October 31, 2022, at the Meeting Room of APSLC Building. In his remark, Dean Prof. Dr. apt. Satibi, M.Si., explained that her visit and meeting purpose are totally in line with the current map of the program development at the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM. Among the meeting participants were the program managers at the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, including the Bachelor in Pharmacy, Pharmacist Professional Education, Master in Clinical Pharmacy, Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Master in Pharmacy Management, and Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Science.
Leanne Howie, the Manager of the Office of Global Health Initiatives at USyd, had specifically proposed her intention to establish academic and research collaboration between the Sydney School of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM. Furthermore, having the plan to run the dual degree program and boost the international mobility of students and staff, both parties agree to follow up on the discussed points. The meeting lasted about an hour and a half at noon and was concluded with a group photo of the meeting participants. (Saras)
