Pharmacy UGM – Thursday (23/01) The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), held the Postgraduate Graduation Ceremony for Period II of the 2024/2025 Academic Year at the APSLC Building Auditorium. The event was attended by faculty leaderboard, graduates, and their accompanying families.
In this period, a total of 19 graduates from various postgraduate programs officially received their diplomas. The graduates included 2 students from the Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences (DIF) with an average GPA of 3.95, 6 students from the Master’s Program in Clinical Pharmacy (MFK) with an average GPA of 3.95, 10 students from the Master’s Program in Pharmaceutical Management (MMF) with an average GPA of 3.94, and 1 student from the Master’s Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIF) with an average GPA of 3.93.
The event began with a speech from the representative of the graduates, Muhammad Qowiyul Amin from the MMF program. In his speech, he expressed gratitude and appreciation to all parties who had supported the academic journey of the graduates and shared hopes that the knowledge gained would benefit society.
Next, the symbolic handover of the graduates to their parents was carried out by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Apt. Satibi, M.Si. In his speech, he commended the hard work of the graduates and emphasized their important role in advancing pharmaceutical sciences and improving public health. The ceremony continued with the presentation of mementos to the best graduates from each program as a form of recognition for their academic achievements, followed by a joint prayer led by Prof. Akhmad Kharis, and a photo session with the faculty leaderboard and congratulations to the graduates.
This Postgraduate Graduation Ceremony aligns with the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM’s commitment to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being. With the emergence of competent graduates in the field of pharmacy, it is hoped that they will contribute to improving the quality of healthcare services and the development of innovative and community-based pharmaceutical science.
