Student of Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada Wins 1st Place in the “English Essay Video Presentation 2025” International Competition

Yogyakarta, June 15 2025 – A remarkable achievement has been made by a student from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), on the international stage. Nadiva Azzahra Ayuningtyas Prawirohardjo (24/535927/FA/14412) successfully secured First Place in the English Essay Video Presentation 2025 competition, organized by Skadron Pendidikan 104 Adisutjipto on June 15, 2025.

This competition, held at an international scale, aimed to enhance students’ critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills in presenting ideas through video media. Participants were tasked with composing an essay in English on relevant global issues and delivering their ideas through a communicative and engaging video presentation.

In this competition, Nadiva presented an essay on a current and innovative theme, delivered through a video presentation that combined excellent English proficiency with appealing visuals. Her work received high praise from the panel of judges for its clear, creative, and impactful message to the wider audience.

This achievement stands as tangible proof that students of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM are not only capable in academic and pharmaceutical sciences but also in essential soft skills such as global communication, critical thinking, and the effective use of information technology.
