Yogyakarta, 28 July 2026 — As part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of postgraduate education, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), held a Workshop on the Evaluation of Teaching and Learning Activities for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year and Preparation for the Odd Semester of the 2026/2027 Academic Year on Tuesday, 28 July 2026, at the APSLC Auditorium, 8th Floor. The workshop was attended by lecturers, academic staff, and education support personnel involved in the Faculty’s postgraduate programmes, including the Pharmacist Professional Study Programme (PSPA), Master of Pharmacy Management (MMF), Master of Clinical Pharmacy (MFK), and Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIF).
The workshop commenced with a comprehensive evaluation of the teaching and learning activities conducted during the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. During this session, participants shared feedback and reflections on the learning process, covering the overall implementation of courses, the effectiveness of teaching methods, and the various challenges encountered throughout the semester. The outcomes of this evaluation will serve as the foundation for continuous improvements aimed at enhancing learning quality and ensuring the achievement of the expected graduate competencies.
The workshop then shifted its focus to preparations for the Odd Semester of the 2026/2027 Academic Year. Discussions included the appointment of course coordinators and lecturers for each postgraduate programme, coordination of academic implementation, and the alignment of teaching schedules and learning activities to ensure effective delivery. Through this collaborative planning process, the Faculty aims to ensure that all academic activities are thoroughly prepared prior to the commencement of the new semester.
Through this workshop, the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM reaffirms its commitment to fostering an adaptive, high-quality, and sustainable education system. The initiative also contributes to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) by continuously improving teaching and learning quality, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening collaboration and coordination among postgraduate study programmes in support of excellent academic governance.
