Reuni Emas, Faculty of Pharmacy Class of 1975 Alumni Hold Gathering at Universitas Gadjah Mada’s Faculty of Pharmacy

Yogyakarta, July 15, 2025 – The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) proudly hosted the Reuni Emas for its Class of 1975 alumni on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. The event took place in the Auditorium on the 8th floor of the APSLC Building. The visit, which began at 08:00 AM Western Indonesia Time (WIB), lasted approximately one hour and was attended directly by the Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, along with around 30 alumni from the Class of 1975.

The visit aimed to strengthen ties among the alumni and offer them a chance to reminisce and witness the current progress and advancements of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM. The agenda included a welcoming address from the representative of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM Class of 1975 Alumni, Budi Mulyaningsih. This was followed by a brief presentation on the current situation, conditions, and achievements of the Faculty of Pharmacy by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Prof. Dr. apt. Satibi, M.Si. The event continued with a friendly gathering, a tour of the Faculty’s facilities, a joint prayer, and concluded with a photo session.

This event reflects a commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event supports SDG 4, Quality Education by fostering strong connections between alumni and the institution, encouraging sustained support for educational development. Furthermore, this activity aligns with SDG 16, Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, through the strengthening of educational institutions thanks to the active participation of the alumni community, which creates a conducive environment for collaboration. Finally, this Golden Reunion embodies SDG 17, Partnerships for the Goals, by building and strengthening partnerships between alumni and the faculty, which are essential for shared progress in the field of pharmacy.
