Pharmacy UGM Alumni Class of 2004 Donate Educational Assistance Fund

Pharmacy UGM – Alumni of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), class of 2004, have demonstrated their commitment in education by donating an educational assistance fund to the UGM Bachelor of Pharmacy Study Program. The symbolic handover of this donation was conducted on Thursday (March 27) to the Head of the Bachelor of Pharmacy Study Program, apt. Purwanto, M.Sc., Ph.D.

This financial aid is expected to benefit undergraduate students in need of financial support during their studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy, UGM. Furthermore, this initiative aims to inspire other alumni classes to participate in supporting the sustainability of education at UGM Pharmacy.

“We hope this assistance can ease the financial burden of students in need and motivate them to keep excelling. Hopefully, this step will also encourage other alumni classes to contribute to helping their fellow students,” said a representative of the class of 2004 alumni.

The initiative of Pharmacy UGM alumni class of 2004 aligns with the Faculty of Pharmacy’s efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, which emphasizes the importance of inclusive and equitable quality education for all. With alumni support, it is hoped that greater educational opportunities can be achieved within the academic environment of UGM. (Rita/HumasFA)
