Ngobrol Bareng Dekanat: Faculty of Pharmacy UGM Strengthens Academic Synergy

Yogyakarta, 15 January 2025 — The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada, held a Morning Tea for lecturers combined with the agenda of completing the Lecturer Workload (BKD) for the Odd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year and NGOBAT (Ngobrol Bareng Dekanat) on Thursday, 15 January 2025, at the 8th Floor Auditorium of the APSLC Building, Faculty of Pharmacy UGM. The activity was attended by lecturers of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM and served as an open communication forum between academic staff and the faculty leadership in a warm and collaborative atmosphere.

The event commenced with opening remarks by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, who presented an overview of the average credit (SKS) achievements of lecturers and reflected on the implementation of the tridharma of higher education throughout the semester. This was followed by a technical explanation on the completion of the BKD for the Odd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year delivered by the Vice Dean for Finance, Assets, and Human Resources, which then continued with an interactive question-and-answer session. During the NGOBAT discussion session, lecturers conveyed various inputs and aspirations, including issues related to credit achievements across academic fields, student competency assessment, and the importance of data presentation by the Faculty Leadership as a basis for academic policy formulation.

Through this activity, the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 on good health and well-being through the creation of a healthy and supportive academic work environment, SDG 4 on quality education through the evaluation and strengthening of lecturer performance and the continuous improvement of learning quality, and SDG 16 on strong institutions through the implementation of transparent, participatory, and dialogue-based faculty governance.
