Hundreds of Participants Take Part in the Selection Test for the IUP Program Intake 1 2025 at the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM.

Pharmacy UGM – Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) simultaneously held the entrance selection test for the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) Intake 1 of 2025 from Thursday, February 27 to Saturday, March 1, 2025. Hundreds of participants from various regions took part in the selection process, which consisted of academic ability tests, English proficiency tests, and interviews. This test is part of UGM’s efforts to select prospective students who have outstanding potential and are ready to compete at the international level.

The IUP Intake 1 test is an important step in recruiting students for the International Program at UGM, known for its globally standard education quality. Over the course of three days, participants showed high enthusiasm to seize the opportunity to study in an educational environment that supports the development of students’ knowledge and experience.

As one of the faculties offering the IUP program, the Faculty of Pharmacy was actively involved in the selection process. At the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, the computer-based test (CBT) took place at the CBT Centre on the 7th floor of the APSLC Building, while the interview process was held on the 2nd floor of the same building.

The implementation of this activity supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). By providing quality higher education and equal opportunities for all participants, UGM plays a role in producing pharmacy professionals who are ready to compete globally. Additionally, this activity also contributes to SDG 5 (Gender Equality) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) through the development of a technology-based educational system.
