Master of Clinical Pharmacy UGM Conducts Re-accreditation Site Assessment by LAM-PTKes

Yogyakarta, April 8, 2026 – The Master of Clinical Pharmacy Study Program at the Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Gadjah Mada UGM conducted a re-accreditation site assessment organized by LAM PTKes from April 5 to April 8, 2026. This activity represents a strategic effort to ensure continuous quality improvement and maintain the relevance of clinical pharmacy education in addressing current healthcare challenges.

The assessment process was carried out by a team of assessors from LAM-PTKes, namely Prof. Dr. apt. Lucy Dewi Nurhajati Sasongko M.Si. and Dr. rer. nat. apt. Liling Triyasmoro M.Sc., who conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the study program implementation. The evaluation covered key aspects including curriculum quality, learning processes, human resources, student and alumni engagement, as well as supporting facilities and infrastructure.

The site assessment began with an opening session attended by faculty leadership, study program staff, management quality assurance unit, and the supporting task force team, reflecting a strong institutional commitment to maintaining academic excellence. Throughout the process, the assessors conducted document verification, interactive discussions and direct observations to obtain a thorough understanding of the program’s quality assurance system and overall performance.

This re-accreditation process is expected to further strengthen the position of the Master of Clinical Pharmacy Study Program as a leading program that produces competent and professional graduates who are ready to contribute to clinical practice and healthcare systems. The program remains committed to continuous improvement, innovation and collaboration to ensure its relevance and impact in the healthcare sector.

This initiative also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals SDGs particularly SDG 4 Quality Education, through strengthening higher education quality, SDG 3 Good Health and Well-being, through the development of healthcare professionals and SDG 17 Partnerships for the Goals, through collaboration with accreditation bodies to ensure sustainable and high-quality education.
