KAGAMA Pharmacy Halal Bihalal Promotes Alumni Engagement and Future Collaboration

Yogyakarta, April 20, 2026 – The Pharmacy Gadjah Mada Alumni Association (KAGAMA Pharmacy) organized a Halal Bihalal event titled “From Memories to Collaboration” on Saturday (18/4) in Jakarta. The event served as an important momentum to strengthen ties among alumni while encouraging strategic collaboration both among alumni and between alumni and their alma mater, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada.

The event was attended by the Chair of KAGAMA Pharmacy (Drs. apt. Masrizal Achmad Syarief), the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM (Prof. Dr. apt. Satibi, M.Si.), the Chair of the 16th Lustrum of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM (Dr.rer.nat. apt. Yosi Bayu Murti, M.Si.), along with alumni from various cohorts in Jakarta and surrounding areas. The presence of these stakeholders reflects a strong shared commitment to building a solid and sustainable network.

In a warm and collegial atmosphere, participants not only reminisced about their academic years but also discussed opportunities for collaboration across various fields, including professional development, academic contributions, and support for the faculty’s strategic programs. The spirit of “from memories to collaboration” became a unifying theme that connects past experiences with concrete steps for the future.

On the same occasion, a socialization session for the 16th Lustrum of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM was also conducted. This session aimed to encourage active alumni participation in the series of lustrum events while strengthening their sense of belonging to the institution. The Lustrum Chair, Dr.rer.nat. apt. Yosi Bayu Murti, M.Si., presented various planned activities designed not only as a celebration but also as a platform for reflection and future development of the faculty.

Through this event, KAGAMA Pharmacy and the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM reaffirmed the importance of alumni as strategic partners in institutional development. The synergy between alumni and the faculty is expected to generate meaningful contributions to the advancement of education, research, and community service.

This activity also aligns with efforts to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), through strengthening networks, cross-sector collaboration, and sustained contributions from the alumni community in advancing the fields of health and education.
