Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Gadjah Mada Holds Legal Drafting Technical Training to Strengthen Internal Legal Capacity

Yogyakarta, October 27, 2025 — The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada organized a Legal Drafting Technical Training, following a limited workshop offer from the UGM Bureau of Law and Organization (HUKOR). This activity aims to enhance the legal drafting competence of academic and administrative staff in preparing institutional documents and internal regulations in a structured and compliant manner.

The training took place on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Public Relations Room, 7th Floor, APSLC Building, Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, and was attended by university leaders and staff members responsible for finance, asset, and human resource management.

Through this initiative, the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM reaffirms its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) by fostering staff competency and lifelong learning, SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by promoting professionalism and efficiency, and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by strengthening institutional governance, transparency, and accountability.

The Vice Dean for Finance, Assets, and Human Resources, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. apt. Endang Lukitaningsih, M.Si., emphasized that enhancing internal legal capacity is a vital step toward building a robust and integrity-based governance system. “We hope this training enables participants to understand the essential principles of legal drafting so that the faculty’s policies and documents are clear, well-structured, and regulation-compliant,” she stated.

The Faculty of Pharmacy UGM remains committed to fostering sustainable and professional governance as part of its contribution to achieving UGM’s vision as a world-class university rooted in the values of Pancasila.
