Faculty of Pharmacy UGM Welcomes Sultan Agung Islamic University Visit for MoU Follow-up & Monitoring and Evaluation of Further Studies of Lecturers in Doctoral Program

Yogyakarta, September 10, 2025 – The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), welcomed representatives from Sultan Agung Islamic University (UNISSULA) as part of the Follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of faculty members pursuing further studies. This visit marked an important step in strengthening synergy and implementing collaboration between the two institutions.

The agenda focused on the implementation of the MoU regarding the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and the Monitoring and Evaluation process for UNISSULA lecturers currently pursuing advanced studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy, UGM.

Faculty members included in the Monev agenda were apt. Hudan Taufiq, M.Sc., apt. Abdur Rosyid, M.Sc., apt. Ika Buana Januarti, M.Sc., apt. Fildza Huwaina Fathnin, M.Kes., apt. Fadzil Latifah, M.Farm., apt. Yuyun Darma Ayu Ningrum, M.Farm., and apt. Arifin Santoso, M.Sc.

From the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, the meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. apt. Zullies Ikawati, as Head of Doctor in Pharmaceutical Sciences Program and Supriyatna A.Md., as academic staff. Their presence highlighted UGM’s commitment to ensuring the quality and success of partner lecturers in completing their studies while also ensuring the optimal implementation of the collaboration.

This partnership is expected to further enhance human resource quality and the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in both universities, particularly in the field of pharmaceutical sciences, while also supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) through strengthened research and education in health, SDG 4 (Quality Education) through academic capacity building of lecturers, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through collaborative synergy between higher education institutions.
