Faculty of Pharmacy UGM Welcomes Benchmarking Visit from STIKes Widya Dharma Husada Tangerang

Yogyakarta, 20 January 2026 — The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada, welcomed a benchmarking visit from STIKes Widya Dharma Husada Tangerang on Tuesday, 20 January 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM (WIB). The visit took place at the Leadership Meeting Room (Room 707), 7th Floor of the APSLC Building, Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, and was followed by a tour of several laboratories as part of the laboratory benchmarking agenda.

The visit aimed to facilitate the exchange of experiences and best practices in the management and development of pharmaceutical education and research laboratories, particularly in relation to learning systems, laboratory governance, and the optimization of supporting facilities and infrastructure. Through discussions and direct observation of laboratory facilities, STIKes Widya Dharma Husada Tangerang sought to gain insights to support continuous improvement in educational quality and research capacity.

This benchmarking activity reflects the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education through the enhancement of higher education learning environments, SDG 9 on Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure by strengthening laboratory and research facilities, and SDG 17 on Partnerships for the Goals through fostering inter-institutional collaboration in health education.
