Faculty of Pharmacy UGM Students Wins 1st Runner-up in the National Essay Competition by INOVASI 2025 held by UKMFT-INOVASI, Trunojoyo University Madura

Yogyakarta, August 3, 2025 – Students from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) have once again demonstrated their achievements at the national level. The FARMASKIN team, consisting of Nurul Shafaira Nissa (chairperson) and Ananda Fitriana, won 1st Runner-up in the INOVASI 2025 National Essay Competition, a prestigious event attended by 109 participants from 22 universities throughout Indonesia.

This competition provides a platform for students to express their ideas and thoughts in addressing social issues. The success of the FARMASKIN team not only reflects the academic quality of UGM Pharmacy students, but also their tangible contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, which supports intellectual development; SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure through creative ideas; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through collaboration among students across universities.

This achievement is expected to motivate other UGM students to actively participate in scientific competitions, develop innovations, and continue contributing to national development.
