Yogyakarta, June 29, 2025 – Nisa Fredlina Mahardika Saputri (23/512158/FA/13826), a student from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), has once again brought pride by securing First Place in the National Poster Competition category at Pharmaplast 2025, a national scale scientific competition organized by the Pharmacy Study Program of Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya.
This year’s competition adopted the theme “The Role of Health Professionals in Smart Education on Reproductive Drug Use for Better Reproductive Health,” which encouraged participants to create visionary, informative, and impactful works to support reproductive health literacy in Indonesia. In her poster, Nisa successfully combined strong visual presentation with a clear, relevant, and easily comprehensible educational message. The poster captivated the judges for its ability to integrate a scientific approach with visual communication creativity, while also addressing the social dimensions of responsible and informed reproductive drug use.
Pharmaplast 2025 was held virtually and involved participants from various universities across Indonesia. The final event and award announcement took place on June 29, 2025. Nisa’s achievement is a testament to the dedication, competence, and social awareness of students in addressing critical health issues, particularly in the areas of community pharmacy and reproductive health.
Beyond academic recognition, this achievement also serves as a tangible contribution to the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Nisa’s work aligns with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, by highlighting the importance of drug literacy in safeguarding reproductive health. Moreover, her success reflects the implementation of SDG 4: Quality Education, demonstrating that students are capable of applying academic knowledge and skills creatively to address real-world social challenges. The communicative visual approach of the poster also supports SDG 5: Gender Equality, particularly in empowering women through inclusive and gender-sensitive reproductive health education.
