Faculty of Pharmacy UGM Obtains Full ASIIN International Accreditation for Five Study Programs

Yogyakarta, 30 April 2026 — The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), has achieved another prestigious international milestone by securing full ASIIN International Accreditation for five of its study programs. According to an official notification from the ASIIN International Accreditation Agency, all submitted programs have fulfilled the rigorous accreditation requirements, reaffirming that the educational quality at the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM meets global standards.

The programs that successfully attained fully accredited status range from Undergraduate to Doctoral levels. The Bachelor in Pharmacy (S1) and Master in Clinical Pharmacy (S2) programs have been granted accreditation valid from March 25, 2025, to September 30, 2032. Meanwhile, the Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences (S2), Master in Pharmacy Management (S2), and Doctor in Pharmaceutical Sciences (S3) programs also received full accreditation valid until September 30, 2030.

This achievement is the result of the continuous commitment of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM to maintaining academic quality and consistently improving educational support facilities. With this international recognition, graduates from these five programs possess stronger competitiveness in the global job market and have expanded opportunities for academic and research collaboration with leading international institutions.

This success also serves as a concrete manifestation of the faculty’s contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 4 (Quality Education) by providing an accountable and internationally recognized higher education system. Furthermore, this achievement aligns with SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by positioning the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM as a global strategic partner in the sustainable development of pharmaceutical sciences.
