Faculty of Pharmacy UGM Inaugurates 69 New Graduates in Period III 2024/2025 Graduation Ceremony

Yogyakarta, May 28, 2025 – The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) today officially inaugurated 69 undergraduate students in its Period III Academic Year 2024/2025 Graduation Ceremony. This graduation ceremony marks the successful completion of their studies and their readiness to contribute to the advancement of pharmaceutical science and healthcare services for the community.

Out of the total 69 graduates from the Faculty of Pharmacy, the majority demonstrated highly commendable academic achievements. A remarkable 59 students graduated with Cum Laude honors, 8 students with Very Satisfactory honors, and 1 student with Satisfactory honors.

At this graduation ceremony, Tania Audria Sutopo, originally from Surakarta and born on March 12, 2003, received special recognition for her outstanding achievements. Tania was noted as the graduate with the fastest study period, completing her degree in just 3 years, 5 months, and 1 day, and achieving an excellent Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.95. Tania Audria Sutopo was entrusted to be the Student Representative and delivered a speech to all attendees. Meanwhile, the youngest graduate from the Faculty of Pharmacy was awarded to Mutiara Anindyana Hapsari. Mutiara completed her education and earned her bachelor’s degree at the age of 19 years, 1 month, and 9 days, with a GPA of 3.59. She completed her studies in a timeframe of 3 years, 5 months,  and 1 day.

On this occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, Prof. Dr. apt. Satibi, M.Si., expressed pride and congratulations to all graduates and their families. He advised the graduates to continue developing themselves, uphold the values of their alma mater, and make tangible contributions to the nation’s progress, especially in the fields of health and pharmacy.

The Faculty of Pharmacy hopes that its graduates will become agents of change who are not only professionally excellent but also actively involved in supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, and Goal 4: Quality Education, through comprehensive pharmaceutical services and community education. 

Graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy at UGM, who are competent and professional, play a vital role in supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goals 8 and 10. Through their contributions in the health and pharmaceutical sectors, these graduates help promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth (SDG 8) by driving innovation and expanding access to decent employment opportunities. Furthermore, their active involvement in providing pharmaceutical education and services across diverse communities, including underserved and remote areas, contributes to reducing inequalities (SDG 10) in access to quality health information and services. This graduation ceremony reaffirms the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM’s commitment to producing outstanding, innovative, and professional alumni.
