Faculty of Pharmacy UGM Hosts Financial Planning Socialization on Gold Savings with BSI

Yogyakarta, 3 February 2026 –The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada, held a Financial Planning Socialization on Gold Savings in collaboration with PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), Tbk. This activity is part of the Faculty’s ongoing efforts to enhance sustainable financial literacy and financial planning among the academic community of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM.

The socialization program took place on Tuesday, 3 February 2026, from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. WIB, at the 8th Floor Auditorium of the APSLC Building, Faculty of Pharmacy UGM. The activity is intended for lecturers and administrative staff of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, with the main agenda focusing on the introduction of gold savings–based financial planning as a secure and long-term financial investment.

Through this activity, participants are expected to gain a more comprehensive understanding of personal financial management that is adaptive to current economic challenges, while also becoming more familiar with sharia banking products and services offered by PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), Tbk.

The implementation of this activity aligns with the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM’s commitment to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education through the improvement of financial literacy, SDG 8 on Decent Work and Economic Growth through strengthening individual financial management capacity, and SDG 17 on Partnerships for the Goals through strategic collaboration between higher education institutions and the sharia banking sector.

The Faculty of Pharmacy UGM hopes that this activity will provide tangible benefits in enhancing the financial awareness and preparedness of its academic community, while also strengthening collaboration with strategic partners in the field of sharia banking.
