Yogyakarta, August 10, 2026 – The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), held an online discussion with PT Sunthi Sepuri as part of an initial exploration of potential collaboration in pharmaceutical product development. The discussion was attended by representatives of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM from the Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Technology, Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry, and Advanced Pharmaceutical Sciences Laboratory. The discussion served as an initial platform for both parties to exchange perspectives on potential opportunities for research collaboration and pharmaceutical product development.
The prospective collaboration between the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM and PT Sunthi Sepuri aligns with efforts to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3, Good Health and Well-Being, through the development of pharmaceutical products with the potential to improve public health; SDG 9, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, through strengthening research collaboration between higher education institutions and industry in science-based product development; and SDG 17, Partnerships for the Goals, reflected in the exploration of strategic collaboration and the signing of the NDA as a foundation for sustainable partnerships between the academic and industrial sectors.
