Pharmacy UGM – In collaboration with the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, Novell Group successfully organized a recruitment for students of the Professional Pharmacist Study Program (PSPA). The recruitment was held on Thursday (1/23), at the APSLC Building of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM. This activity was held to open career opportunities for PSPA students who wish to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical industry.
The recruitment was attended by around 60 participants, who were PSPA students from various universities in Yogyakarta, including UII, UAD, and UGM. A representative from the HRD team of Etercom Pharma Plant, one of the companies under Novell Group, was present to give a brief presentation on the company profile and the career opportunities currently available. Participants also learned about the work dynamics and environment at Novell Group, which is known as one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia.
Furthermore, the participants took part in one-on-one interviews with the HRD team. If selected, they would then go through a series of additional recruitment steps, including online psychological tests, user interviews, and training before being hired by Novell Group.
This event also aligns with the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs), which is part of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM’s commitment to providing access for students to develop careers in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries (SDG 3), enhancing skills and knowledge (SDG 4), and offering opportunities for them to start careers and secure decent jobs (SDG 8). Additionally, the collaboration between the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM and Novell Group strengthens the synergy between education and industry (SDG 17).
It is hoped that this recruitment event will serve as an initial step for students to develop their potential and contribute to the pharmaceutical world. With the collaboration between academia and industry, it is expected that a beneficial synergy for both parties will be created, as well as progress in the healthcare sector in Indonesia.
