Yogyakarta, August 22, 2025 – The Faculty of Pharmacy at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the career development of students and alumni by holding an Open Recruitment event with PT Bintang Toedjoe. The event took place in Room 301 APSLC, 3rd Floor, and was attended by enthusiastic prospective alumni eager to explore career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry.
The event included a company profile presentation by PT Bintang Toedjoe’s team, participant registration, basic skills tests, and interviews conducted directly by the recruitment team. Through this initiative, students are expected to gain a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges in the professional world and prepare themselves to compete in the national pharmaceutical industry.
This initiative aligns with the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM’s efforts to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) by providing access to practice-based learning and training, SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) through the creation of decent job opportunities and supporting economic growth, and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) by strengthening collaboration between academics and the pharmaceutical industry to support innovation and development in the health sector.
