Yogyakarta, July 24, 2025 – The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) continues its commitment to supporting digital transformation and strengthening university governance through a visitation and discussion as part of the UGM Core development initiative. This event will be held in the Leadership Meeting Room on the 7th Floor of the APSLC Building, Faculty of Pharmacy UGM.
The visitation and discussion are attended by administrative leaders, cross-functional teams, and the Digital Transformation Bureau (BTD) Team of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM. The discussion focuses on strengthening the integrated UGM Core information system, which serves as a crucial foundation for efficiently, transparently, and sustainably managing academic, financial, administrative, and student service data.
This activity is expected to strengthen collaboration among work units within the faculty and provide a platform for sharing ideas and strategic input to improve the quality of academic and non-academic services. By developing UGM Core, the Faculty of Pharmacy aims to reinforce its role as part of a world-class research university that is adaptive to information technology advancements.
This effort aligns with Universitas Gadjah Mada’s commitment to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This commitment is reflected through various strategic steps, including supporting SDG 4: Quality Education by optimizing digital-based academic governance to improve the quality and access to education more equitably and efficiently. Additionally, UGM contributes to SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure through strengthening information technology infrastructure as part of sustainable digital transformation within the higher education environment.
Through this agenda, the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM hopes to continue advancing as a forefront in supporting the university’s digital transformation, aiming to create an inclusive, high-quality, and globally relevant higher education ecosystem.
