Pharmacy UGM- The Institute of Natural Medicine University of Toyama (INMUT) Director, Professor Yoshihiro Hayakawa, paid a visit to the Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Gadjah Mada (FPUGM). Professor Hayakawa has previously visited UGM as an invited speaker for short programs and has good contact with the lecturers at the FPUGM.

His visit this year was part of the INMUT mission to establish an agreement with the FPUGM. With the possibility of expanding the existing collaboration, the Dean of the FPUGM, Prof. Dr. apt. Satibi, M.Si., with its Vice-Deans, positively responded to establishing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the FPUGM and the INMUT. As a result, both parties signed the MoU on November 2, 2022, in front of the program managers’ representatives and students at FPUGM.

The MoU Signing Ceremony was followed by a Lecture from Professor Hayakawa, which specifically discussed the pre-clinical animal models for studying cancer immunology. The Ceremony and the Lecture lasted from 09.00-11.00 am at the APSLC Auditorium at FPUGM. (Saras)
