
Pharmacy UGM – Dexa Group has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the career development of pharmacy graduates by organizing a campus hiring event at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). The event occurred at the Auditorium on the 8th floor of the APSLC Building, Faculty of Pharmacy UGM, on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 08.30 AM until completion.
The event was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Collaboration, and Alumni, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. apt. Nanang Fakhrudin, M.Si. In his opening remarks, he expressed his appreciation for the collaboration between the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM and Dexa Group in providing career opportunities for graduates. “Such events are highly beneficial for graduates seeking career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry. We hope this collaboration continues to support the development of excellent human resources in the pharmaceutical field,” he stated.
This open recruitment session offered 15 job positions across various fields within Dexa Group, attracting many pharmacy graduates eager to start their careers in the national pharmaceutical industry. The enthusiasm of the participants was evident from the high turnout of Faculty of Pharmacy UGM alumni who attended and participated in the selection process. Through this event, it is hoped that more graduates will secure career opportunities that match their competencies and contribute significantly to the growth of Indonesia’s pharmaceutical industry.
Beyond opening job opportunities for graduates, this campus hiring initiative also supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Specifically, it aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education) by offering access to career information and professional development, SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by promoting the creation of quality job opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector, SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and SDG 17 (Partnership for the goals) by strengthening collaboration between academic institutions and the industrial sector in developing a competent workforce.
