Pharmacy UGM – The Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) has once again demonstrated its academic excellence by achieving a remarkable accomplishment. The enumerator team and data managers of the SINTA database at the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM have successfully earned the First Best Award in the SINTA Data Achievement category for 2024 amongst faculties at UGM. This award is a tangible proof of the Faculty’s dedication to managing high-quality research and scientific publication data.
As part of the award ceremony, representatives of the SINTA enumerators from the winning faculties were invited to attend a “Sharing Session on SINTA Data Management.” The event was held on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Multimedia Room II, UGM Central Office, 3rd Floor, South Wing. The event began with a speech from the Head of the Subdirectorate of Scientific Publication and Intellectual Property Management, who provided information about the SINTA management award winners from six faculties. The highlight of the event was the presentation of award certificates to the winning faculties by the Secretary of the Directorate of Research, as a mark of respect for their outstanding achievements. Additionally, the event featured a sharing session led by the SINTA enumerator representatives from the winning faculties.
The success of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM in receiving this award is closely linked to the Faculty’s commitment to continually support the development of knowledge through quality research and systematic data management. With this achievement, the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM is expected to inspire other faculties to continue innovating and improving the quality of their research data management.
This achievement is also in line with the efforts of the Faculty of Pharmacy UGM to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG No. 4 (Quality Education), SDG No. 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and SDG No. 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). Excellent SINTA data management supports quality education by providing reliable academic information and fosters innovation in the field of pharmacy with integrated and relevant data. The Faculty of Pharmacy UGM is committed to continuing its contribution towards achieving these goals for sustainable development.
