Welcome to the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada!

Since our founding on September 27, 1946, the Faculty of Pharmacy has been dedicated to advancing pharmaceutical sciences and education. As Indonesia's oldest pharmaceutical education institution, we offer five accredited programs. These include the Bachelor of Pharmacy, Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences—all accredited “A” by the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT). 

We also offer the Professional Pharmacist and Master of Clinical Pharmacy programs, both accredited “A” by the Indonesian Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Health (LAM-PTKes). The following academic degrees are awarded to graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy: Bachelor of Pharmacy (S.Farm), Pharmacist (Apt.), Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences (M.Pharm.Sci.), Master of Clinical Pharmacy (M.Clin.Pharm.), and Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Dr.).

In 2018, 76.6% of our lecturers held doctoral degrees, and 27.7% were full professors. It marks as the highest ratio among faculties at Universitas Gadjah Mada. The Faculty of Pharmacy also publishes three nationally accredited journals; two of these journals are indexed by DOAJ, and one is indexed by SCOPUS.

With 72 years of experience, the Faculty is now focusing on the Fourth Industrial Revolution and global pharmaceutical challenges, building partnerships both domestically and internationally.
